Nepal is a paradise for wildlife lovers. It has many possible destinations from the vast array of subtropical evergreen forests in the lowlands to the lush rhododendron forests in the north. With over 160 mammals you will be enriched with sightings of animals such as the Asian one-horned rhino, wild boars, multiple types of deer, sloth bears and on a bonus day the Bengal tiger and snow leopard. With over 800 species of birds, Nepal is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Trained specialist on birds can guide visitors and help them to see a huge variety of species.
The Explore Nepal Group has its own comfortable eco-lodges and camps in two distinct locations – Chitwan National Parkand Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve.
All aspects of nature are respected by those traveling with us as our lodges and camps abide by the philosophy of the responsible traveler and eco-tourism. No plastic is used either for bags or bottles, local organic food is served where possible, and our staff are local so they can give information that might not otherwise be known.

We have access to parks that are not visited by most travelers to Nepal. There are a total of 6 national parks and reserves to which we can take our visitors – Chitwan National Park, Bardiya National Park, Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve, Parsa Wildlife Reserve, Shey - Phoksundo National Park, Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve.
